What this quote means in business:
Doubt rarely serves you. When you go into a situation with doubt, you influence the outcome negatively. If you want a yes, expect a yes with full confidence.

This is part of what Loral Langemieir calls “yes energy,” the topic of her latest book. She spoke at Craig Duswalt’s Rockstar Entrepreneur Conference and part of her message was to project confidence even when you don’t feel it.

For example, she talked about saying yes and figuring out the how (or who knows how) later. This is how she’s gotten some very nice projects. This is what a confidence person does and can open amazing doors for you.

I’ve done it myself. In fact, recently, I’ve said yes to a project that will move me toward my goals but requires me to do some things I’ve never done before. I said yes confidently and without doubt. When the project is successful, I’m sure to tell you all about it!
