The four-step squeeze page process

by | Aug 20, 2012 | Marketing & Selling, Video

Developing a squeeze page process is pretty straightforward. In this excerpt from my presentation “Better List Building Through Effective Squeeze Page Use,” I talk about the four steps in the squeeze page process and some tips for making each step more effective.

The four steps in the squeeze page process are:

  1. The squeeze page
  2. The thank you page
  3. The confirmation email
  4. The download page

To make the process more effective, I suggested the following:

  • Have a benefits-driven headline on the squeeze page
  • Include a description of the gift; including an image of its virtual packaging is also helpful
  • Have two opt-in forms on your squeeze page: one at the top and one at the bottom
  • Provide download instructions on your download page to help people acquire and consume your opt-in bonus
  • Add a surprise bonus to foster good will
