“Remember, happiness doesn’t depend on who you are or what you have; it depends solely on what you think.”
~ Dale Carnegie

What This Quote Means to Business:
Are you happy? In your life? In your business?

If you answered “yes” then I applaud you. You’ve got your head screwed on right!

If you answered “no” please read on.

When you get up in the morning, what are your first thoughts? Do you get up looking forward to the day? Or do you keep hitting the snooze because you don’t want to face the day?

If you don’t know the answer to that question, spend the next three to five days jotting down your dominant thoughts. Then look for a pattern: Are you spending most of your time thinking about positive or negative things?

If you answered “positive” you’re probably one of the people who answered that you were happy to the first question I asked.

If you answered “negative,” I’ve got good news for you: You can make yourself happier by changing your thoughts. Start focusing on the positive things in your life. Take a few minutes, either at the beginning or the end of the day, to write down the wonderful things in your life. What are you grateful for? Focus on that.

If you do that daily, you will notice things change for you. You will become happier. If you really want to take it up a notch, do my Celebrate You! exercise, explained in this video that I posted last week.
