With just over a week left before my live event, I’m now in the finalization phase of everything that needs to be printed.
I’ve created a large banner that features the cover of my book, a call to action (get a free Reader’s Guide and Action Plan) and the logos of my major sponsors, to date. This banner will be going with me, now through Dec. 31, 2013, wherever I make public appearances, such as book signings at books stores, online branding workshops and the like. I’m working on setting up engagements with book stores throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties, with possible stops up North (San Francisco, Marin and Sonoma counties) when I head up there for the holidays. I’m also working on speaking gigs to continue my fund raising and book sales efforts. I’m also creating a workbook for those who come to the live event. Part of the fundraiser is a 90-minute workshop on how to brand your business online. This is easily a $45+ value … but attendees will only be paying $5 (plus fees) in advance, or $10 at the door. I’ve been working diligently on what content to include. Here’s what I’ve got so far:- What is branding?

- Actions you must take to develop and nurture your brand online
- Interactive activities to illustrate the points above and provide volunteers in the audience with live, in-person coaching/consulting on their brand
My intention is for attendees to leave the event with a clear idea of how they can move forward with using the Internet to increase their brand and business visibility.
This event is the launch of a six-month campaign to raise $8,500 to build a schoolhouse in Kenya, where I grew up and my little sister was born. To reach that goal and spread the word, I will be doing book readings and workshops throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties, as well as stopping by blogs, podcasts, teleseminars and more. My vision for this campaign includes:
- 50+ people at the live event
- 1,000 physical books sold by the end of the year (thus raising $2,000 just with book sales, for I will be donating $2 of every book purchased and registered at www.CarmaSpence.com/57secrets to the Unstoppable Foundation, now through December 31, 2013.)
- $8,500 total raised for my Unstoppable Foundation campaign
- One to three live appearances a month for book signings, workshops and speaking gigs
- At least 20 virtual stops on my six-month tour of blogs, podcasts, teleseminars, webinars and Internet radio shows
