Celebrate You! 2015 Exercise, Day 31

by | Aug 31, 2015 | 2015 Celebrate You!, Behind the Scenes, Celebrate You!

The only time you should ever look back
is to see how far you’ve come.

Wow! You’ve just spent 30 days Celebrating You and flexing your positive thinking skills. I’m proud of you — and you should be, too!

I know it’s not always easy. This is my fourth year doing this and it can be exhausting … but in a good way.

So today, you’re going to look back on what you’ve accomplished and celebrate what you have achieved.

Today’s Journal Exercise:

On the first day of this Challenge, I asked you to start a list of all the things that are going right in your life. I challenged you to come up with 10 on that day and to continue to add to that list throughout this month. How did you do? How many things going right were you able to add to that list? Regardless of how many, take a look at that list now. Feel your blessings. Acknowledge them. Be grateful for them.

Now flip through your 31-Day Celebrate You! Challenge Journal and remember and relive all the wonderful things that have transpired over the last 30 days. Do this first thing in the morning, then hold onto that joyful feeling all day. If you stray, call it forth again. Get into the habit of holding onto joy.

At the end of the day, journal once more about how your day went while holding onto joy. Reflect on how you and your life have transformed because of your participation in this challenge.

Daily Challenge:
Pick one to three of your biggest insights, aha moments and/or blessings and share them with us in the Facebook group (be sure to include the #CelebrateYou hashtag) and/or a comment below. Do you have a favorite picture you took during the month? Share that too! Feeling bold? Have someone take a picture of you jumping for joy and post it in the group declaring, “I did it!” Include both the #CelebrateYou and #IDidIt hashtags.

I’ll be pulling the exercises from this year’s Challenge into a workbook to go along with my forthcoming book Celebrate You! Own Your Awesome in Business and Life. The exercises will be edited, reorganized and provided in an easy-to-use format. If you’d like to be notified when this workbook is ready, as well as updates about my book as they become available — from future blog posts to milestones met along the journey — please complete the form below.
