Last week, I shared the six signs that show you need to hire a life coach. Today, I’ll share the signs that you may need to hire a business coach.

You Need a Business Coach if …

1. Your business is not producing the results or outcomes you desire
You may be an entrepreneur or small business owner, but that doesn’t mean you know everything about running a successful business. A business coach can help you uncover the areas in which you are weak and find ways to strengthen them, either through your own work, or by finding the right employees, contractors or vendors.

2. You notice that you are no longer in love with your business
Many people start a business because it is an expression of their passion. But sometimes, the day-to-day grind can lead to overwhelm and we find that what once impassioned us … just doesn’t anymore. A business coach can help you find your spark again and help you clear away the stuff that is blocking it.

3. You want to tweak your current marketing plan to make it stronger, more powerful and more effective
As times change, so must your marketing strategy. The thing is, you may not have the knowledge to leverage new ways of marketing. The right business coach can help you find ways to reach your target audience more effectively.

4. You notice you are self-sabotaging your own business, but don’t know how to stop
I’ve been there. Sometimes, as the spark that got you to start a business fade, you’ll find yourself doing things that actually sabotage your business success. This can be caused by a variety of attitudes, beliefs and behaviors. A good business coach (especially one with some life coaching experience) can help you nip those business-busting beliefs and habits in the bud, as well as tweak your business so that your spark shines once again.

5. You want to move your business to the next level
Do you know of any athlete who has reached a high level of success who didn’t have a coach? I’m pretty sure the same can be said of business owners. A business coach adds the benefits of their knowledge and expertise , as well as an accountability partner, to your business growth.

6. You have done all you know how to do and need some help to go beyond your current business plateau
When you hire a business coach who knows things that you don’t know, you are assured to take your business in a new direction. If you feel like your business has plateaued, and you want it to grow, then you should seriously consider hiring a business coach to help you break out of that rut.

“I found working with Carma to be like a laser beam of clarity.
