There are lots of reasons that audio should be a part of your marketing and business growth plan. Here are the ones I feel are the most important.

1. It is easy to create.
If you have a telephone, you can create an mp3 audio file that you can place on your website. There are tons of free services out there that will allow you to do this, as well as a few paid services that are more feature-rich. You have no excuse for not using audio in your business.

2. It is a powerful way to let your personality shine through.
People are more likely to buy when they know, like, and trust a vendor. But it is easy to be bland — or worse … false — in print. When a visitor to your website can hear your voice — and the personality that underlies it — they are more apt to feel like they know you.

3. It can be a quicker way to create valuable content.
For many, it is just easier to talk about what they know than it is to write. Also, if you can get another person on the recording, the interchange between the two of you can create value that you might not be able to create on your own.
