It may sound strange, but a lot of business owners struggle with this concept … especially if they are in a service or giving oriented business. But if your business is not in existence to make money, it is not a business.

You can have a hobby that makes you money. That’s just fine. But don’t call it a business.

Businesses exist to make money. They exist to create a profit. So, for your business to be successful, you need to embrace the concept that you are in business to make money.

Making money is a good thing. Making money allows you to keep a roof over your head, to feed yourself and your family, to take time to relax, to hire others so they can support their families. Making money is a positive energetic activity.

So, as you develop your business always keep in mind that you are creating a money-making enterprise. Hold that thought with peace and joy and you are on your way to having a successful business mindset.
