“If you want to achieve greatness stop asking for permission.”
~ Anonymous

What this quote means to women entrepreneurs:
Greatness requires strength and courage. It often requires you to step out of your comfort zone. But so often women entrepreneurs pull their punches, stand at the edge of their boldness and demurely (and often unconsciously) wait for permission to step into their own power.

To see if this is something you might be doing, take this quick quiz:

  1. Do you have a big goal that you keep putting off?
  2. Do you procrastinate tasks that you know will move your business forward?
  3. Do you feel you need to get someone else’s permission to do something you want to do?
  4. Do you have a dream that you finally let go of because you never got around to pursuing it?
  5. Have you been pursing a goal but keep finding yourself “blocked” from achieving it?

The more “yes” answers you had, the more likely you’ve got a permission problem. And, if it is not an obvious permission problem, then you’re probably unconsciously the one who is not giving yourself permission!

Fixing this can be easy and simple, or it can require some work on your part. It depends on the root of the issue. The easy way would be to simply give yourself permission. Declare it to yourself in the mirror or write it down a dozen times, whichever works for you.

But, if the issue runs deeper, then you’ll need to do some more work. This could include something low-cost like looking up EFT videos on YouTube, or something that requires an investments, such as hiring a coach. Either way, if you have a vision of greatness for your life and you aren’t moving toward it, find out why and fix it now.
