“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
~ Confucius

I have a theory. Truly successful people love what they do. They may not love each and every task that needs to be done, but overall they are passionate about their business. It is this passion, this love, that keeps them going day in and day out. It is the fuel that gets them up in the morning, that keeps them creating, that keeps them motivated.

So, I ask you:

  • Do you love what you do?
  • Do you love your business?
  • Do you love your clients?

The stronger you can say, “Yes!” to those questions the more likely you are to succeed.

“Do what you love. Know your own bone; gnaw at it, bury it, unearth it, and gnaw it still.”
~ Henry David Thoreau

So, as we end this year, take a look at your business and uncover these things:

  • What parts of our business are you most passionate about?
  • How would you describe your favorite clients?
  • What daily tasks do you look forward to doing?

Now take steps to increase these things in your business … and prune those things that you would list on the other side of the scale.
