Summary of Find Your Awesome

Want to love yourself more? Judy Clement Wall provides 30 exercises and activities that you can do to help you uncover what is awesome about you and develop a loving relationship with yourself.

What I liked about Find Your Awesome

This book is a quick read and chock full of wonderful illustrations (Wall is an artist) and activities that can foster self-esteem. It is organized so that you can do one activity a day for 30 days, which is a good way to build new habits.

The writing tone is fun, matching well with the light-hearted illustration style.

What I didn’t like about Find Your Awesome

Not all the activities support the promise of the book. They might make you feel good, but they don’t really uncover what’s awesome about you.

What I’d Love to See in the Second Edition

When a book has forms that you can fill out, I love to see the book either presented in an easy to use spiral bound version … or have those forms be provided as downloadable sheets that I can print out and write on. I have this silly thing about defacing books.

Anyway, I think Find Your Awesome could really benefit from either being published in a larger, easier to write in, format or by providing downloadable versions of the worksheets, coloring pages, etc.

Conclusion

Being that “Own Your Awesome” is my brand, I couldn’t help by grab a copy of this book! I really enjoyed reading it and found many of the activities provided to be very useful. I would totally recommend this book to anyone who wants to start on the path of improved self-love and self-esteem and who likes a creative approach to self-help.

Grab a sketch book, some colored markers and Find Your Awesome for 30 days. You’ll be glad you did.
