Born To Be Rich by Rollan A. Roberts IIBorn To Be Rich: How To Become a Money Magnet by Living Life on Purpose
By Rollan A. Roberts II
Tate Publishing & Enterprises

Available through Amazon in paperback and Kindle editions. You can find it at other fine online and offline book sellers, as well.

This book provides an “Overview of the Universe” style review of a variety of self-help and wealth building concepts, including a variety of mindset tweaks for improving your financial life.

What I liked about it:
Born to Be Rich is a quick and easy read, written in very simple language. If you are just getting started on a self-help journey, this is a great place to start. It covers the major topics and could inspire you to read more on those topics that resonate with you most.

What I didn’t like about it:
Its strength, in my mind, is also its weakness. Each topic is covered only in a light, superficial manner. I never got a good sense of the author’s voice. I would have liked to read more detailed stories from Rollan’s life (or others’) that illustrated his points. This read more like an outline of what you should be learning about, than a book that would actually teach you anything.

This book is really only useful to beginners … or those who want a quick review of what they’ve already learned in other books while sitting in the doctor’s office.

NOTE: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. If you’ve read past book reviews, you’ll know that I don’t pull my punches when I believe they are warranted. I also try to provide balanced information so you can make your own decision to read or not read the book, even if you disagree with my opinion.
