The first step in dealing with stress is recognizing the symptoms, which include:

  • Nausea
  • Heartburn
  • Excessive bloating
  • Irregular heart beat (fast or slow)
  • Changes in appetite
  • Irritability
  • Changes in mood
  • Crying
  • Depression

These symptoms may not always be linked to stress, but when you find yourself with these symptoms and there is no other logical reason for them, chronic stress could be the root cause.
