Article Marketing and Your Ezine

If your article marketing is successfully driving traffic to your website, your opt-in list should be growing, too. Statistically speaking, at least 2% to 10% of your website visitors should be taking you up on your opt-in offer.

Once they are on your list, they should be receiving emails from you at least once a month. You want these emails to contain a nice mix of both genuine content and offers to purchase something (we are in this to make at least some money, right?).

But how do you keep churning out new content for your article marketing, your blogs and your electronic newsletter?

There is one way to take some of this pressure off of you and that is to use articles you’ve already written to provide content for your newsletter.

One way is to write an article, post it to an article directory and then in your newsletter provide the opening paragraph and then link to the article in the directory. You can also use this technique with your blog posts. I use this method with my newsletter, The H.E.A.R.T. of Business.

Alternatively, you can write an article, publish it in your ezine first and then post it to an article directory or your blog later. This gives it a little more value because your loyal subscribers are the first to see the new content.

Don’t worry too much about subscribers having seen the articles before in a directory or on your blog. Some may have, but the vast majority won’t. Remember, people are coming to you and joining your opt-in list from a wide variety of sources and probably have not seen your full library of content available.
